Built in the 1800s, Christ Church is a beautiful Church of England parish with strong roots in the local community. As part of its growth, the team wanted to improve how services were shared — both in person and online.
That’s where CPS came in. With over 20 years of experience working in churches and listed buildings, our team knows how to handle installs where nothing can be drilled, bolted, or obvious. Our aim is always to make it look like it’s been there all along.
Beyond Equipment:
One of the main goals was to enable the church to stream services live online. We installed the Blackmagic ATEM Television Studio 4K8, giving full control over multi-camera mixing and live production. Paired with POE-powered cameras, it’s a setup that’s simple to run but delivers great quality — ideal for sharing services on YouTube or direct to the congregation at home.
For audio, we installed an Allen & Heath mixing console, giving operators full control over the sound in a simple, intuitive format. It’s reliable, flexible, and works well whether it’s a quiet sermon or a live band.
We also added large screens around the venue so the congregation could clearly follow what’s happening, wherever they’re seated. All cables were carefully routed to protect the church’s interiors, keeping things clean, tidy, and respectful of the space.
The Christ Church team was really pleased with the finished install — everything works as expected, and it feels like a natural fit for the building. We’re proud to have helped them make services more accessible, both in-person and online.
